How do I ask, "Who do you know in Mexico?"

You asked:

¿A quiénes conoce (Ud) en México? = Who do you know in Mexico? / ¿A quiénes conoce(s) Ud que vive(s) en México? = Who do you know who lives in Mexico/ living in Mexico?

This is the polite form which uses the 3rd person singular form corresponding to: Usted and is used when addressing strangers. older people and people in authority! In effect, anyone to whom you wish to show special/particular respect.

¿A quiénes conoces en México? = Who do you know in Mexico?

This sentence above uses the familiar form which corresponds to the second person singular and is used when addressing friends, family, children and younger people.and people you know well.

I agree with Ian that you would be well-advised to learn Spanish and a good starting point would be to follow the course of 60, F R E E Spanish videos and complete the activities that follow each video. These short video lessons will help to give you a good basic grounding in Spanish!

Thank you, Bosque The Ud was simply put there to show that it referred to conoce (which could refer to: el ella, or Ud 3rd person singular ) , not as an indirect pronoun! - FELIZ77, Sep 26, 2014

If I had meant to put it there as an indirect pronoun like te I would not have placed it in brackets Perhaps it wuld have been better not to put it there as it just seemed to have caused confusion while I put it there to avoid confusion and clarify to - FELIZ77, Sep 26, 2014
