If you could the world what would you do and why? It can be anything plausible or impossible. Anything at all, what would you change?

Yo daría agua a todos que no ya tienen de que beber. Por eso siempre doy lo que puedo a las charidades que trabajan para limpiar el agua sucia que beben los niños africanos.

Y en cuando todos tengan de beber, espero que pueda inventar una vacuna contra la enfermedad de Alzheimer.

I would just give water to all those who still have nothing to drink. Because of this I give what I can to the charities who work in order to clean up the dirty water that the children of Africa have to drink.

And afterwards, when there is enough water for everybody to drink I hope to invent a vaccination against Alzheimer's Disease.

I (would) want everyone to stop laughing at dreams, aspirations and ideals. Perhaps I am wrong, but our species would never have advanced to its current stage if we had only lived in the moment and laughed at concepts like 'fire', 'electricity', 'language' and 'comfort'.

It would also be nice if I could make everyone much more tolerant of what others believed in or did. I'd want everyone to realize that it matters less that everyone halfheartedly do the same thing, and matters a lot more that everyone do whatever they do with true zeal.

Me gustaría si todos dejaran de reirse de sueños, aspiraciones y ideales. Quizás estoy equivocando, pero nuestra especie nunca podría alcanzar su estado actual si solo viviéramos en el momento y nos riéramos de conceptos como 'el fuego', 'la electricidad', 'el idioma' y 'la comodidad'.

También sería bueno si podría hacer que todos fueran muchos más tolerantes de las creencias y los actos de otros. Quería que todos se dieran cuenta que es menos importante que todos hagan lo mismo sin entusiasmo y más importante que todos hagan lo que hagan con celo.

Although this might turn in to a major debate (and I don't mean it to) there is one thing that I would do to change the world. I would send a letter to every person in the world containing all the reasons that the Theory of Evolution requires so much faith to believe. For example: The probability of just the basic enzymes of life coming together randomly is 1 to the power of a 1 followed by 40,000 zeroes! Just the basic enzymes!

Para evitar discusiones sobre la política y la religión, las que entrarían en casi todos los cambios que me gustaría ver:

Leí sobre una investigación hace unos pocos años, y lo que la investigación descubrió fue que la persona más rico en un vecindario pobre estaba mucho más contento que la más pobre en un vecindario rico, aún cuando la pobre del vecindario rico tenía mucho más dinero que el rico del vecindario pobre.

Si yo pudiera hacer cambios en el mundo, quizás uno sería que la gente estaría contenta con sí misma en vez de basar su alegría en una comparación con las vidas de otros.

Ojalá este no sea algo polémico, pero ¿Quién sabe?
