Parroquiano vs Cliente

Hi Friends,

I have learnt a new vocabulary today for "customer", the regular one being "El/La cliente" ..

Thought it'd be a good idea to share it with you all ..

And I also wanted to check with the native friends like Pablo, Chileno, JC and others, if this is a commonly used word or is it better to stick to the regular one "el cliente" and do they mean exactly the same or does it refer to some Specific type of customers.

This is the SD link to this word and it doesn't give much information ..

Parroquiano can mean a client of repeat business, but it also means someone or something related to a church or religious group (parroquia). To avoid any confusion, I would use cliente for business matters.
