While that is certainly true, the most skilled sailors still prefer a smooth sea for a safe journey. Not everything in life needs to be educative, especially with lives at stake.

Se dice :Lo que no te mata, te hace más fuerte. Así es con el mar y también con otras experiencias. Pero por mala suerte la gente no es igualmente fuerte y de vez en cuando muere durante la adquisición de las experiencias.

It is said :what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger. So it is with the sea and also with other experiences. But for bad luck people are not equally strong and occasionally they die during the acquisition of the experiences.
