Voy a = I'm going to

can be present, recurring or in future = puede ser ahora, habitual o futuro

e.g. = por ejemplo

voy a la tienda I'm going to the store

a veces voy al gimnasio Sometimes I go to the gym

el sábado voy a una fiesta on saturday I'll go to a party

But what does this mean: Pero qué significa este:

"Voy a las horas de oficina de un profesor"

Does not make sense to me No lo entiendo

Without context it seems to mean "I am going during the office hours of a teacher." which makes some sense but is really nothing I would say in English much less Spanish.

By the way, I read your profile and am impressed. There are several polyglots here.

¡Muchisimo gracias Jubilado! It was puzzeling but makes sense now. And thank you, learning a new language is a necessary bless of being an immigrant. Moved twice. - antonmo, Sep 13, 2014
By the way, the example is from the book "Dicho y hecho" exercise 2.8.3. No context given. - antonmo, Sep 13, 2014
