"How to write time in Spanish"

Ah yes, another ever so polite newcomer. I'll save you some time and frustration... well, it's more for the other posters.

  1. Don't do this.
  2. fill out your profile please. <Drcox>help us to help you</cox>
  3. use the search function. Such a common area and need to know topic has most likely been covered extensively. (spoiler alert: It has)

Here's a pretty cool new technology that can help you as well

Just on this site alone there is a dedicated lesson to this very thing.

A lesson on TIME?? Well don't that beat all?

Just on the first page of a google search on the topic you'll find links to several discussions on here about it. You'll also find such gems as

This lovely page and This exhaustive lesson with tests quizzes and a podcast, on this very topic.

Oh, and to answer your original question, to write time in Spanish you type the letters v-e-z, the letters h-o-r-a or the letters t-i-e-m-p-o.

some other letters you might want to be familiar with are p-o-r, f-a-v-o-r & g-r-a-c-i-a-s.

Cheers mi amigo nuevo smile

Huckleberry , please don't write words like "whod've thunk" it because we are a learning site and those people who don't have English as their first /native language may well think that is how you spell those words and copy bad grammar! I know it was s - FELIZ77, Sep 13, 2014
spoken in fun but it could unintionally set a bad example - FELIZ77, Sep 13, 2014
Ya know that thought did briefly cross my mind but since "whod've thunk it?!" or "who'd have thunk it?!" is one of those commonly used phrases in English that is purposely said in bad form, I figured, why not? BUT... You have a fair point. Changed :) - Hucklebeary, Sep 13, 2014
Thank you, Huckleberry :):):) I believe It's fine to use phrases like that amoung native friends or people who have reached a reasonably advanced level so that they can tell that is not good grammar./said in bad for, but complete beginners might easily - FELIZ77, Sep 13, 2014
(Self-correction; bad forM) ...cont'd./... copy such phrases in ignorance thinking that was how it should be said :) - FELIZ77, Sep 13, 2014
