Hello Karina,

Welcome to the Spanish Dict Forum smile

You said,

Realizar check inn en un hotel

Bosque is correct that you should clarfy exactly what it is you are wanting to know! wink

However, I will try to make an educated guess...reading between the lines:

Would you like to know how to say 'check in' at a hotel?

You would use the Spanish verb: registrarse = to 'check in'

ex Todavía no se han registrado = They have not 'checked in' yet.

Una conversación imaginaria en recepción: (An imaginary conversation in reception)

La recepionista: << Buenas tardes, señorita, ¿en qué puedo ayudarle? >>

The (female) receptionist: "Good afternoon, miss. How can I help you?"

La huésped (You): << Buenas tardes, me gustaría registrarme, por favor >>

The guest (You): : "Good afternoon, I would like to 'check in, please"

La recepcionista: << Por supuesto (o claro) ¿tiene una reserva, por favor? >>

The receptionist: "Certainly, do you have a reservation, please?"

La huésped: << Sí, tengo una reserva a nombre de ...Macdonald >> (Usas tu nombre real aquí)

The guest: "Yes, I have a reservation in the name of ...Macdonald " (use your real name)

La recepcionista: <

The receptionist: "Your name is Macdonald How do you spell it , please?""

La Huésped: M (emmay) a (ah) c (cey) etc...

The guest: " M a c (etc...)

You would need to spell it out using the Spanish alphabet, but don't worry you could also simply write it down for them to see or show your passport with the name written down so they could find it on their guest list on their computer.

This is just to give you some idea of what might/could happen

At the airport, though, you would use the verb facturar (Spain) o chequear (LAm) el equipaje = to Check in the luggage.

I hope this answers your question, but if not...please tell us exactly what you what to know! wink

Very nice Feliz, I am not sure if it answers her question or not (as the question is unclear) but it sure does enlighten a lot of other guys and gals .. hehe .. thanks .. Jimmy - 00b055e0, Sep 11, 2014
You are welcome, Jimmy :) As for answering the question asked: if any questioner wishes to receive a clear, and specific answer they really must ask a clear and specific questio! Otherwise at best they will receive something vaguely helpful or...... - FELIZ77, Sep 11, 2014
at worst ...no answers as people would not be able to understand what they are asking ! :) - FELIZ77, Sep 11, 2014
