Youtube Spanish Learning Resouces
I found this on Youtube last month: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_cjV3gbex1E
I gather the creator, Señor Wooly, is a teacher of Spanish (in the USA, it seems) & has created this and a number of other similar videos (cartoons and mini-films). The content is utterly ridiculous & plainly aimed at (older) children, but personally I've found these videos to be very helpful and encouraging.
When I first watched 'Billy La Bufanda' (yes, it's about a walking, talking scarf, ahem), I could understand only one or two words, but now I can follow it pretty much all the way through (you can also download the lyrics). This is particularly heartening when I'm struggling so badly just now to understand any Spanish in regular cinema films.
Anyone interested should check out Billy & the other vids. And if you know of any similar resources, I would be delighted to know about them too... ![]()
