Hello Hannah,

Welcome to the SpanishDict forum smile

You can say:

1Vienen a pasar unos días con nosotros =They are coming to spend a few days with us.

2.Espero que puedas venir a mi fiesta de cumpleaños sábado que viene = I hope (that) you can come to my birthday party this saturday.

3.Una tala que viene de la India = A cloth that comes from India (origen)

4.Viene en tres tamaños = It comes in three sizes

5 Vienen por mi a las ocho =They coming for me (ie:to pick me up) at 8 o'clock.

Viene por alguien = to come for somebody/to pick somebody up.

6 Ahora vengo = I'll be back in a moment

7.¿Ha venido el elecricista? =Has the electrician been?

8.¡No vengas tarde! =Don't come back home late/ be back home late!

Examples 2 composed by me. All otherExamples courtesy of Oxford Spanish Dictionary (4th Edn)

I hope this will give you some ideas how the Spanish verb venir is used, as a starting point smile
