Hii, I'm in intermediate spanish and we had an assignment to write about what we do normally and what we did yesterday. Could someone please proofread and let me know if this is all right ?

Normalmente escucho música todo el tiempo. me gusta la música pop especialmente. creo que la música pop es mero que otros tipos de música. Durante los fines de semana suelo salir con mis amigos. Voy al cine también. Me gustan mucho las comedias.

Ayer fui al cine con mis amigas. Vimos una película que se llama "Step Up: All in". Me gustó la película porque fue muy interesante y divertida. Comimos patatas fritas y bebimos refrescos también. Después fui al centro comercial y fui a compras. Compré dos camisetas y una bolsa

*The first sentence is redundant: You are saying normally & all of the time. *I would reorganize the second sentence. Say something like my favorite genre (género) is pop. *Mero? Mejor = (better) / Mero is a word, but it doesn't apply here. * I like the choice of suelo con mis amigos. *Use capital letters at the beginning of each sentence, and make sure you are punctuating "."

Does suelo mean ground? I think your assignment looks good! besides changing suelo everything looks fine. but you should ask others to proof read this as well

In this case: "suelo salir con mis amigos" = I usually go out with my friends (hang out with). But yes, by itself it means floor/ ground. - jphip, Sep 6, 2014
