Has this been translated correctly?
Hello, so i'm having trouble with a translation exercise, I have attempted to translate it and it would be great if someone could help if it is wrong...
= I want him to come back, although sometimes it happens to me with people the same as with dogs, i try to get rid of them little by little, becasue i suffer in an unbearable way when i lose them.
In reality it is not about the house but 3 united. Lucas and I we went to the apartments that they were leaving empty in the fourth floor, because we thought to share them with various friends when the children become independant.
Is this right?

No 1, more or less ok.
For no 2 I suggest:
In reality it's not a question of one house, but rather three which are joined together. Lucas and I took over these apartments on the fourth floor, when they became empty, because we planned to share them with some friends when the children grew up.
Hello again Joco
I believe that Annie has provided you with a great translation of the second paragraph / part of your text.
= I want him to come back, although sometimes it happens to me with people the same as with dogs, i try to get rid of them little by little, becasue i suffer in an unbearable way when i lose them.
'Get rid of them' ??? sounds drastic!
I agree with her that your translation of the first part is generally good but I would like to suggest an improvement to one part: which I have highlighted above:
Please see my amended sentence, below: I want him to come back, although sometimes it happens to me with people the same as with dogs, i try to become less dependent on them, little by little, because i suffer in an unbearable way when i lose them.
I hope this helps ![]()
