¿ Puedo decir "lo blanco" ?
¿ Puedo decir "lo blanco" cuándo quiero comprar algo en una tienda ? Acabo de leer que es 'lo' con un adjectivo. Por ejemplo, si quiero comprar unos cigarillos y decir al senor en la tienda que quiero esos en el paquete blanco para hacer la diferencia entre el paquete rojo.

Lo = No in this case.
la verde = If you are referring to a feminine noun. el verde = If you are referring to a masculine noun.
ex= Tom: ¿Cuál camisa (<--feminie noun) te gusta? Bill: La verde (the green one)
ex= Tom: ¿Cuál carro (<--masculine noun) te gusta? Bill: El rojo (the red one)
You can use “lo” with an adjective if it refers to a concept not associated with a specific noun, or if the noun is still undefined.
Lo bueno- that which is good
Lo verde- the green one (thing, I don’t know what it is)
If you have a noun associated, you use the appropriate article:
¿Qué camisa prefieres? Prefiero la verde. Not lo verde. Usually in your scenario you will know what the thing is.
(An aside: some Spanish speakers will accept "cuál" where I used "qué" and some not- if you speak mostly to Spaniards, I would stick with "qué".)

No you can't ... lo can be used with an adjective to convert the adjective into an abstract noun mostly referring to anmabstract idea .. for example lo mejor serå que ella estudie para ser anogada .. (the best would be that she studies law) ,,, lo bueno es que ella venga a la fiesta .. (the good thing is that she is coming to the party)... lo peor ya me ha pasado ... the worst has already happened with me .. etc. Etc.. but I won't say lo blanco, lo verde, lo negro etc. Because colors are alkost always related to specefic nouns and can't generally express anmabstract idea or concept .. because for example in your case .. you are referring to a white pack of cigarretes .. which is notmanmabstract idea or concept .. it is a specefic object being referred to .. so as my resourceful friend Bosquederoble rightly explained above .. if you are referring to a specefic item or object you need to use the masculine or feminine definite article (based on the gramatical gender of the thing) .. this is known as using the adjective in nominative case ., where the noun is omitted and the adjective stands alone representing the whole noun .. for example ... the dirty (wash room) one ,, the green one (the green flower) etc. So similarly in yourmcase .. it will be ... quiero el blanco (if you have a choice between different colors) which is similar to how youmsay in English ,,, I wouldmlike the white one ..
