I have been having problems with my so called, "high speed internet" service for a while and I have contacted my provider many times. They tried many things and when the local office here realized they didn't know how to rectify the problem, they told me the following:

This is actually from a technical engineer with the company:

"Well, you know, Ms Grant, it's most likely all the "sound waves" in the air. Such as your microwave or radio and cell phone."

I finally wrote to the home office and they did fix the problem. They had given me a faulty modem. Once they changed "their" equipment (the modem) it solved the problem.

Gee, you mean I can keep the microwave?

No it has to go. You have been warned. The next the modem acts up it will definitely be your fault. - gringojrf, Aug 20, 2014
