Is there a Spanish saying

Is there a Spanish saying that, roughly translated in English, goes "How glorious it is to rest after sleeping?"

Yes, that's the "saying" I think I heard from a friend here in the Philippines where there's also a lot of Spanish cultural influence (having been under the Spanish Crown for over 400 hundred years). Thanks! - mrbocobo, Aug 23, 2014
