Siéntate? What tense is it?

Here is the full sentence , 'por favor, sientate en una de nuestras sillas en la sala de espera' As i know, 'siéntate' is a reflexive verb. But may i know what tense is 'siéntate' and why this tense is used? Also, can i use the present subjuntive tense (i.e. Siénteste)? Thank you

Imperative is used when you make a demand or even politely tell someone to do something, which is what is happening in your sentence. Subjunctive cannot be used here.
