You would say, 'Mi hija es alérgica a nueces.' = 'My daughter is allergic to nuts.' Or 'Mi hija tiene alergia a nueces.' = 'My daughter has allergy to nuts.'

Mi hija es alérgica a "las" nueces.. es suficiente pero "Tiene alergia a "las" nueces" esta bien también. - 003e54f5, Aug 2, 2014

I thought "nueces" meant walnuts in Spain. Wouldn't it be better to say "Mi hija es alérgia a los frutos secos." - Helind, Aug 4, 2014
