Mi libro de grammatica dice sobre "otro y otra:"

"Si hay un número antes del nombre, otro(a) se usa antes del número, lo contrario del inglés."

EJ: Necesito otros dos libros. (I need another two books)

No entiendo. El orden de la frase en inglés y español es el mismo no "lo contrario del inglés." Puede clarificar esta declaración? Muchas gracias.

It doesn't seem to make sense, maybe it's because otro can mean other as well as another and we say ... I need 2 other books? with the number first (but the meaning isn't quite the same), just grasping at straws here lol.
