Another Question! Yay!
Well this will be my second question in less than 15 minutes, but you know... Anyways, take a look at this sentence. "My mother says that going out with my hair wet will harm me" Does this look right? Mi madre dice que salir con mi pelo mojado va a dolerme.
I don't know, it sounds like I wrote it wrong. But then it's the only way I could think to write it....what do you think? Gracias!!! ella

What I would come up with:
Mi madre (me) dice que ir afuera con el pelo mojado me (hará daño/enfermará).
I suspect enfermar is the better verb for the true underlying meaning- even though not literal- hacer daño is a little too literal and I am not sure would truly be used in this sense, although I am not sure.
I think "salir con" works though. Húmedo would be another an option for mojado.
I am an intermediate level learner.
This is not an answer. I just want to bump this up in appreciation for your completing your profile and to invite you to continue posting for help or sharing. Always remember to give it you best try or guess if you're asking for help in writing correct Spanish.
You also write English correctly which is important for those who come here to improve their learning of English - none of that "texting" jargon and spelling. Thanks for that!
