From a certain to a certain time

Question

I have a question relating to saying from a certain time to a certain time. For example if I say in English, "I have class on Monday from 1:00 to 3:30 PM" would you say in Spanish, "Tengo clase el lunes a la una "a" las tres y media de la tarde" or would it be something different???

I would say: "El lunes tengo clase de la una hasta/a las tres de la tarde".

bosquederobl: Yes, You could also say "El lunes tengo clase desde la una hasta las tres de la tarde".

Actually I think that desde would be the best translation for "from".

I would say "Tengo la clase el lunes de la una a las tres de la tarde." However, I'm not a native speaker so you may want to hear someone else's advice.

I think "desde" in place of "de" is also an option; i do not know if one is better than the other. - bosquederoble, Jun 30, 2014

Thank you BuddyM for your quick response and advice. Another possibility is "hasta" - "until", but I just do not know the grammatical rules for this. I try searching in my Spanish books and online and I found nothing. - DracoKaidan, Jun 30, 2014
