Need help with accent marks

Question

I am not forsure how you stress the letter when it has a accent mark or how to pronounce it. Can someone help me with this problem?

This site does have pronunciation in the Translate feature if you type a word in Spanish you can hear it pronounced after you click on translate and then when it comes up there is a little speaker next to both the Spanish word and the English meaning. If you click on the one after the Spanish word you will hear it pronounced.

JulianChivi's answer is perfect. I will write it out in syllables for you and put the stressed syllable in bold

Si e- lla tra-ba- ja- ra, se-rí- a ri- ca. E- lla tra-ba-ja- rá ma- ña- na tem- pra- no.

In Spanish a vowel with a tilde does not change the pronunciation of that letter, but stresses that sylable, ie: Si ella trabajara, sería rica. Ella trabajará mañana temprano.

Words with tildes over a single sylable, ie: si / sí, mi / mí change their meanings.

What I like to do when there is an accent mark is actually the opposite of what the last two answers said. Instead of adding emphasis to the accented syllable, I take away emphasis from the others. I do this a few times to get used to saying the word and it helps me to always get the pronunciation correct. Also, I like to use the video translations to check if my pronunciation is correct.
