I'm watching the Mundial in Spanish. Several times, the announcer used the term "complicar." "Ecuador complica Francia" (I think that's what he said) for example..What did that mean? I'm thinking that the idea was that Ecuador was giving France a difficult time, but, if so, it seems like a strange way to say that.
And often they use the term Cobrar" in connection with fouls. Is "cobrar" a way to say "call" a foul. If so, how would you say "the referee called a foul on him"?
