This is a billboard here in La Paz, Mexico. The translator is consistent in the translation but I don't believe it and think this must be an idiomatic expression.
Per the translator: Life always gives up.

Correct translation of the above: La vida siempre se da / rinde.
La vida siempre da para arriba
I have never seen this expression, but for me it means: Life always gets better.
