Welcome to the SpanishDict forum 
Well, it all depends on exactly what you want to say. The negative (word) no is often, but not always, placed at the beginning of the sentence
I will give you some examples:
¡No quiero decir nada! = I don't want to say anything!
¡No he visto nunca jamás una chica tan bella en mi vida! = I have never ever seen such a beautiful girl in my life!
¡No lo haga! / ¡No hagas! = Don't do it! The second example uses the familiar form that you would use to address/talk to family, friends and children or young people
¡ No he creído nunca que él iba a estudiar mucho (o duro) en la universidad! = I have never believed that he was going to study hard at University!
I am sure that you will see/notice that while double negatives are not used in English, they are not only used, but are common and accepted in Spanish! Where you have two different negatives in a sentence the word no precedes the other negative which is usually nunca but can be nada or another negative!
You could also say: Nunca he visto una chica tan bella en mi vida. = I have never seen such a beautiful girl in my life!
Sometimes the negative word no comes in the middle of a sentence:
¿Estás seguro que él no venga mañana?
Are you sure that he won't arrive tomorrow?
Sometimes the word no even comes at the end:
Es verdad, ¿no? = It's true, isn't it?
