has anyone read 'el coronel no tiene quien le escriba' if so what did you think of the book? and what is your interpretations of the characters'

i personally found it boring, but i have to know it for A Level, i think it has a few good parts to it, but i also feel that my course limits the amount of interpretation that i can give to the characters...

if you remember the ending...
