What does "Pata" mean?
I've looked up the word "pata" and in some dictionaries/translations it means paw while others give me that it means foot, leg. or limb. Does anyone know the exact translation of this word? And how to use it in a sentence or in what context to use it in? Thanks.

Pata can mean hoof or leg, depending on context, but as gringojrf stated, officially patas refer to animals and things.
There's also the very popular saying "metí la pata" - I put my foot in my mouth.
