Yes sorry..... finger fault with the n! Its verb. I am trying to realise when to use ser or estar

Yes my friend .. now you have asked the right question hehe..

If we talk about the context of the sentence you have stated above .. it should be estar ... because estar (out of it's various uses) is used to indicate the location of some one or some thing,, (not ser) .. for example : estoy en India en este momento (not ... soy en india), and estás en londres? (Not eres en londres? ),, and mis libros estån en la mesa (my books are on the table ) ..

So it is estar .. now, you may look up the conjugation for estar and fill up the blank and post your attempt .. hehe .. best of luck .. regards ..

Dear Mark,

Welcome to SD ..

As much as we would like to help you we also need to abide by the forum rules and per the rules we don't do people's home work or assignment for them .. So please make an attempt and we can correct you if needed ...

I can give you a hint though "it is one of the most commonly used spanish verbs" and if you have to say " the keys to the hall no.3 are hung up in the blue closet" .. how will you say that in Spanish .. use the translator if you like and post your attempt ....

Regards ..
