Rude People
This is for SpanishSkypeorg....you ask a question and ask us to go to your website and give it a 'thumbs up' if we like it. You follow along by posting on the same thread again and say
Note in English the singular form is always used for the part. Nevertheless, in Spanish you must use the plural form.
Do you want to try to write a sentence? Come on, it's easy! smile
So, I went to your website as you asked, and I did try to give you a thumbs up. You were around when i tried to do your exercise because you told me how to do the 'thumbs up' for you.
Ok...I tried to do your exercise so my question is, Where are you now? You didn't acknowledge the fact that I tried. Did you just post the exercise just to advertise your website? You didn't say whether my answer was good, bad or indifferent!
You didn't bother to look at Feliz' answer either!
I think that's a very rude thing to do.

Margherite, I don't consider that SpanishSkype is intentionally ignoring our responses/posts. She may not log in to SpanishDict every day and may not work saturdays.
I think we should give her a chance / time and not assume the worst ![]()
It is all too easy to jump to the wrong conclusions in life, and we can get so easily absorbed in our online lives that we sometimes forget that other people have many and varied responsibilities outside, such their husbands/partners, children, families, to care for, not to mention work (jobs) etc... infact, so many demands on their time that we can forget that anything and everything we all do here for each other is purely on a voluntary. basis!
I am sure that each person here gives as much time as they can to make this learning community work and much as I would like to see more native input I also respect the fact that all the other natives have a life outside Cyber world lol.
Like you, I used to feel aggrieved//upset if my posts went uncorrected for a few days but having managed a thread called English Word of the Day on a different forum and not having received much thanks from the participants, even less native input I can easily see the situation from the perspective of the person running the thread and the natives wh offer their skills, as we English natives do, out of the kindness of their hearts! ![]()
I am going to chill out here and hope that SpanishSkype will drop by soon and offer some more corrections ![]()
Is this a trick question?
