Cosas comunes que decir mientras se conduce

¡Hola a todos!

¿Me pueden decir las cosas más comunes que se dice cuando se conduce? Soy de EEUU y quisiera saber. Sin embargo, no estoy buscando vulgaridades.

Ejemplos en inglés:

  • Step on the gas!
  • Stop driving with two feet!
  • Green means go!
  • You're too old to drive!
  • How did you get a license?
  • He cut in front of me!

¡Gracias por su ayuda!

Edición:

  • ¡Usa la gasolina!
  • ¡Deje de conducir con dos pies!
  • ¡Verde significa ve!
  • ¡Tiene tanto años para conducir!
  • ¿Cómo obtuvo usted un permiso?
  • -No sé...

Quisiera decir algo así:

  • The gas pedal is on the right!

Pero estoy buscando algo regionalmente. Dichos comunes de mexico, argentina, españa, peru, etcetera. Gracias otra vez.

Thank you for posting your versions. I am not a native speaker but I have lived in Mexico for almost 7 years. I would say:

¡Usa la gasolina! ¡Pisa el acelerador!

¡Tiene tanto años para conducir! ¡Tiene demasiado años para conducir!

He cut in front of me! ¡Abre los ojos! !Me rebasa/corta demasiado cerquita!

Thay are very polite in Mexico. Here they are very rude... - annierats, May 25, 2014
These are sayings that are usually said from the shelter of one's car, the other person usually does not hear these things. - JamesB84, May 27, 2014

Great question. But I can only think of "Va muy recio" to describe someone who drives very fast (I've heard this one a lot). Not the sort of idiom you're looking for. We really need someone who speaks Spanish as a native and drives a lot.

Recio does not generally refer to fast but rather aggressive driving. - gringojrf, May 24, 2014

This is a interesting idea. Why don't you give it a try and we will help you.

For example: Why didn't you stop at that traffic light?

¿Por qué no paras en ese semáforo?

Hey, use the crosswalk!

¡Oye! ¡Use el cruce de peatones!

Well, I could translate these things if I wanted to, but I am looking for the colloquial ways that these things are said. - JamesB84, May 23, 2014
