'No respondo del tiempo'

If I am trying to say 'although it is summer, the weather cannot be guaranteed', would I use the phrase 'no respondo del tiempo'? Is the grammar in this phrase correct?

I can see it's listed in the dictionary but it doesn't seem to be used all that much according to Google. Very good question, let's hope native speakers will clarify that. - Manity, May 20, 2014

You can say "Aunque es verano, no te puedo garantizar un (buen) clima". Because you are saying "Although is summer..." What do you mean? That because is summer is should be sunny and hot? Then you can also say "Aunque es verano, el clima no se puede pronosticar (cannot be forecast)". Like implying "you never know" (with the weather) nunca se sabe si va a estar soleado"... because is summer...
