How to say "think tank" in Spanish (as in a research institution such as Brookings, Rand, etc)? mil gracias!

Well per the translate tab above if you enter "research" you get a lot of options the most relavant seems to be:
research establishment (n) instituto (m) de investigación

The important thing is to get an idea across to the other person. Even in English if I said I work for a think tank there will be some who need clarification. No one answer fits all. - gringojrf, May 19, 2014
