sentence construction
I am confused with sentence construction when using personal pronouns that precede the verb. For instance, if I want to say; I want Jack to give me a hat. Will the sentence construction be ..Me quiero Jack darlo un sombrero.
Please advise

I would say, quiero que jack me dé un sombrero. It may seem simple but it's actually rather a complex statement, notice the use of the subjunctive mood in the second clause.
I agree with KiwiGirl.
In addition you can say: Quiero que me dé Jack un sombrero / Quiero que me dé un sombrero Jack.
The position of Jack in the sentence determines the emphasis of him.
