Life Philosophy Practice/ Filosofía de Vida Práctica

Question

To practice our Spanish and English, (and also for fun ) let's write out our philosophy to life. Or a life quote, or something like that. Or even both! Just make sure that you post in both Spanish and English.

¿Cuál es mi filosofía de vida?

Antes probablemente hubiera dicho "Mi filosofía de vida es ser buena persona." Pero, ¿qué significa en realidad "ser buena persona"? Creo que una filosofía de vida debería ser algo más profundo y reflejar lo que soy por dentro.

La verdad es que todavía estoy creando mi filosofía de vida. Lo que tengo hasta ahora es lo siguiente:

• Ser una persona más positiva y controlar mis pensamientos para vivir una vida feliz y abundante.

• Ser una persona respetuosa y tratar a los demás siempre con amabilidad.

• Ser honesta conmigo misma y con los demás.

• Mantener una menta abierta y aprender cosas nuevas. Pensar siempre por mi misma.

• Vivir, no solo existir.

What is my life philosophy?

Before I would have probably said "My life philosophy is to be a good person." But what does it really mean "to be a good person"? I think that a life philosophy should be something deep and reflect who I am.

The truth is I am still creating my life philosophy. Here is what I have so far:

• Be a more positive person and control my thoughts to live a happy and abundant life.

• Be a respectful person and always treat everyone with kindness.

• Be honest with myself and and everyone else.

• Keep an open mind, and learn new things. Always think for myself.

• Live, not just exist.
