Hello Everybody! Welcome to the Picture of the Day!

This is a game where we can practice languages and have fun at the same time!

The rules are very simple and remain exactly as RelaxingCup designed them.

• Post your comments/titles/captions to this picture (both in Spanish and English) and vote for the responses you like. The best answer will be chosen tomorrow on the basis of the greatest number of votes as well as the language accuracy.

Okay. Good to know. Changed the verb. "Bore" in English means both "fail to interest" and "drill." I deliberately chose "traladar" to emphasize the pun, but I agree that the pun is lost in translation nevertheless. - AnnRon, May 13, 2014

I think I saw one of these in a Dr. Suess book.

There is only one subject but two tenses. Pienso = I think (definitely present indicative) and ver/vi = I saw (past indicative) So even with only one subject to I conjugate both because of the change in tense?

Should it be: Pienso que vi uno de estos en un libro de Dr. Suess. I think that I saw ....

Gringo, my friend, I am not talking about the subjunctive here, just simply that your English and Spanish don't match! The Spanish says I think (that) I see whereas the English says I think that I saw ! How can the infinitive ver be past indicative? - FELIZ77, May 12, 2014

I would say: Pensaba / creía que ver etc . Although I think you could also use: Pensé que ver/creí que ver - FELIZ77, May 12, 2014

actually ni idea is what it is. I would never say ningún nor ninguna- both ningún and ninguna sound odd. Good eye Tosh! You could also say no tengo la menor idea, no tengo la más mínima idea, o no tengo ni siquiera la más mínima idea. - jphip, May 12, 2014
