Which verb(s) should be conjugated?
I've got part of a sentence in English: "If you collect and recycle it, ..."
If I translate this to Spanish, would I conjugate only the first verb and get: "Si recoges y reciclarla, ..." as the correct translation?

Si lo recoges y lo reciclas / Si lo recoges y reciclas
Si lo/la recoges y (la/lo) reciclas
Here we have 2 verbs but they are different sentences so each sentence has only 1 verb and when we have one verb we need to put the pronoun always before the verb (except when the verb is after a preposition, in this case we attached the pronoun to the infinitive).
La compro. I buy it. I need a book to read it. Necesito un libro para leerlo (para= preposition)
But when we have 2 verbs in the same sentence you have 2 options. you can put the pronoun before the conjugated verb o atached to the infinitive or gerund.
I want to eat it. Quiero comerlo or Lo quiero comer I'm studying it. Estoy estudiándolo or Lo estoy estudiando
