What is your FaVoRiTe idiom? Mine is...por si las moscas

I'm curious what everyone's favorite idiom is and what it means. Mine is ...por si las moscas. Here is how I used it in a sentence at iglesia (church) a few weeks ago.. Necesitamos ensayar más cantos que nesecitamos por si las moscas. jajaja We need to practice more songs than we need just in case. It isn't an expression used everywhere but all my Mexican friends laughed to hear me use it. :0)

You can say "Cuesta un ojo de la cara" or, something more vulgar, "Cuesta un huevo" haha - acost91, May 10, 2014

her husband came home and told her what she had done. That's when I learned that juevos stand for male anatomical parts. Soooo....How would you say, Here are some eggs for you without getting into trouble? - Sharon-Cash, May 11, 2014

"Por si las moscas" is similar to "just in case", we use it in spanish. However, it is more common to say "por si acaso", that means just the same.

I think "Para chuparse los dedos" sounds funnier in english haha I didn't know the english version "finger licking good" xD
