¡Hola!

It means more or less "in advance", but it is not used in the same grammatical contexts. Besides, you will almost always find it with prepositions, usually "con [amount of time] de".

  • Tienes que sacar las entradas con un mes de antelación.
  • You've got to buy your tickets one month in advance.

  • Avísame con bastante tiempo de antelación.

  • Let me know in good time.

  • ¿Con cuánto tiempo de antelación tenemos que llegar al teatro?

  • How far in advance do we have to get to the theatre?

Hope it helps
