Post in Spanish and English what you want to be when you grow up...smile Or what you wanted to be when you were young, or your dream job if that makes it easier.

Pictures are welcome, but please remember to keep them and all content of your post clean.

If you have/had more than one thing that you want/wanted to be, feel free to post more than once.

I want to be an actress for Sight and Sound Theatres.

Please correct my Spanish smile

Well, I wouldn't want to begin my life again. There were too many negatives and I'm happy with the way it is right now. I have my own business that I built myself from the ground floor and it is a dream job. I am very happy!

It is: «habían demasiadas cosas negativas» Remember to make words match in number and gender. «Había» has be plural and «demasiados» has to be in female form because the Direct Object (cosas) is plural and female. - CursedCommoner, May 8, 2014
@CursedCommoner - I did not want to say 'They were' / 'Ellos habían' I think you are incorrect, but I'll wait for a Spanish speaker to tell me. Thank you. - 007c5fc1, May 9, 2014

If I were born again, I would seek a profession where I could qet aquainted with the world and could learn many languages, but not only from books but on the spot.

Si clauses: si+imperfecto subjuntivo (naciera)+condicional simple (buscaría) but you don't have to use conditional in all the verbs - SpanishSkypeorg, May 8, 2014

If God allows me to do it and opens the doors for me, I would like to be a Christian missionary to wherever He wants to send me.

When I was young, I wanted to become (lit: be) a vet, but after thinking about it for a few years and speaking to different teachers in my secondary school, I realized that I was not cut out for it! (I didn't have the ability to study at such a high level for many years!

Did you know in the US it is harder to be accepted to vetanary college than to medical school. Many MDs could not make the cut to treat animals so they treat people. - 00551866, May 7, 2014
In Europe too, much harder. We import doctors from all over the place... - annierats, May 7, 2014
I had the same ambition but you need 5 in maths, 5 in physics and 5 in chemistry. As well as 5 in everything else.. - annierats, May 7, 2014
It is, nevertheless, a great aspiration to have even if you can never achieve it ! :) - FELIZ77, May 7, 2014

If I could live my life again I would like to try my luck as a film-maker.

--¿Qué quieres ser de grande?

--¡De grande quiero ser arquitecto!

--What do you want to be when you grew up?
