Umm, what exactly are you trying to convey when you call someone a dog: waddup dawg, he's a lucky dog, she's a real dog, he's a lazy dog? - bosquederoble, Apr 28, 2014

if your trying to say whats up dog.....que onda perro?

And this is something that's said in Mexico? It seems extremely literal. I would have thought a translation for "what's up dawg" would be something like:

Que onda wey OR Que onda cachoros

Something along those lines, with "Que onda cachoros" being the closest to a literal translation.

Destiny33 may be referring to "dog" in the sense of no-good man, one who chases women and/or doesn't treat them respectfully, etc.

If that's the case, then mujeriego or Don Juan might be a good choice. And while doing a bit of looking around I also came across ligoncete/ligón that might fit the bill as well.
