Mi hermana y yo estábamos leyendo algunas revistas en la sala ¡cuando llegó (o comenzó) una tormenta y todas las luces en la casa se apagaron!

My sister and I were reading some magazines in the lounge when a storm began and all the lights in the house went out!

I am practising my story skills in which you set (one sets) the scene with the imperfect indicative and then the action is interrupted by another action which is written in the preterite (preterito) indicative.smile

Hi Kiwi. What do all the letters stand for? - gringojrf

General Certificate of Secondary Education (English)

National Certificate of Educational Achievement (N.Z.)

I'm not sure which other countries use those acronyms but basically high school exams.
