Okay, I need help translating and understanding the following paragraph. It was given to me to proofread and it does not make sense to me at all. I would appreciate any help.

Tambien vamos a llenar las placas de libros y adjuntarlo al certificado de regalo para que cuando se compran los libros, el maestro puede poner las placas de libro, en esos libros que confesara quien le dio el certificado.

What are placas de libros- labels for the gift certificate? "Las etiquetas"?

Corrected version in spanish: También vamos a llenar las placas de libros y adjuntarlas al certificado de regalo para que cuando se compren los libros, el maestro puede poner las placas de libro, en esos libros que demostrarán quien le dió el certificado.

Also, we are going to fill-out the "placas de libro" and attach them to the gift certificate so that when they buy the books, the teacher can put the "placas de libro" on them to show to whom they gave the gift certifcate.

Something like that.

First it would be helpful to know what a "book plate" is. I got this from Wikepedia:

 

A bookplate, also known as ex-libr?s [Latin, "from the books of..."], is usually a small print or decorative label pasted into a book, often on the inside front cover, to indicate its owner. Simple typographical bookplates are termed "booklabels".

Bookplates typically bear a name, motto, device, coat-of-arms, crest, badge, or any motif that relates to the owner of the book, or is requested by him from the artist or designer. The name of the owner usually follows an inscription such as "from the books of..." or "from the library of...", or in Latin, ex libris....

 

I think what you have been asked to proofread says:

We will also complete a "book plate" and attach it to the gift certificate so that when the book is purchased the teacher can place the book plate in the books to show who gave the book.
