Pick-up Lines in Spanish

I want to know some pick-up lines in Spanish men and women use. Please, share a context where it can be used or if it may be used anytime. I also would like to know what's the translation of "Pick-up Lines" to European and Latino Spanish. Thanks!

Sam: I borrowed this from one of my posts, I thought it was pretty cool

Bar scene:

Mi bebida se siente sola. ¿Te gustaría acompañarme con la tuya?

Pick-up lines are called piropos, although the general concept of piropos goes well beyond pick-up lines.

I've never been good with pick up lines in English, and Spanish? Forget about it. But I have seen a few I got a chuckle out of.

¿Crees en el amor a primera vista?... ¿o tengo que volver a pasar delante tuyo?.

Do you believe in love at first sight? Or do I have to walk past you again?

¿Me prestás tu teléfono? (para qué?!)... para llamar a mi madre y contarle que encontré a la mujer de mi sueños.

Can you lend me your phone? (what for?) So I can call my mom and tell her I found the woman of my dreams.

And this one is a classic, not that I recommend you use it.

Tantas curvas y yo sin frenos

All those curves and me with no brakes

If you want to learn about piropos in general, I blogged about that too. click here.

Anyway, if you don't get enough suggestions here, just google "piropos para ligar" and you'll find more than enough.

Funny, but I personally tend to avoid using any kind of 'pick up line' ! I prefer to be sincere and just say what's on my heart! It is hard to make these kind of expressions sound sincere, even less unique ! :) - FELIZ77, Apr 20, 2014
Most wise girls might easily reply "Well, I've heard it all before and I'm not interested!" - FELIZ77, Apr 20, 2014
After all, if a girl or a guy really fancied you/liked you it probably wouldn't matter what you said with reason and if they didn't well, no line would be likely to work! - FELIZ77, Apr 20, 2014

Are you getting prepared for your Spanish visit? In English it is tricky because some phrases are corny and others old fashioned and some if said in the wrong situation can be threatening. Check with native speakers in Spain before you say them! I love Notes in Spanish. I have the transcripts but the audios are available online. They did one about chat up lines requebrar

and in the comment section someone has linked to a post in the transparent language blog [they are in various languages] if you haven't looked at them yet do, they are very useful: macho man
