There is a very cool word in Spanish that essentially means where your soul lives - the physical place where you feel most alive and at ease. Unfortunately, I can't remember the word! Any ideas?

I don't know such word, I also expect the someone names it, because it beats me.

The closest concept I know is that of psiquis which refers to the essence of being human, while some call the the body ''templo'', though it is simple orgamic matter.

No one is answering so I will put it back to the top of the list with a wild guess that is probably not it.

Xanadú.

I found it in google without the accent mark. The word might be it. There are not many words starting with a x. Interesting word indeed. - llamalovers000, Apr 19, 2014
In babylon.com type xanadu in English and translate to Spanish. - 00551866, Apr 20, 2014

No tengo ni idea, creo que el alma mora en el cuerpo porque sin cuerpo no hay alma. Si hay algún lugar fuera del mente donde reside el alma no sé como se llama.

Sorry mate, I've never come across this word, or indeed the phenomenon, surely the peace is an inner peace?

It could just be "Nirvana (same word in english)" or "Espiritualidad". This is what you are describing.
