Is tu eres bonita the same as tu bonita?
I'm trying to understand what/when to use words in Spanish in a sentience

A good question, but...
You just wouldn't say:
tú bonita
...unless you were a beginner lol
The Spanish say/would say:" Eres bonita = You are pretty. The Spanish people normally avoid using personal pronouns such as yo , tú, él etc......except when they need to emphasise to whom the action refers, or where there needs to be greater clarification to whom the action refers!
A few examples when I believe you would use personal pronouns:
Ex 1: Yo que tü = If I were you. (This is a well-known idiom which I know is correct)
Ex 2. Todos nosotros fuimos al restaurante "Fernandos" y hablamos mucho Después de cenar, cantamos mientras yo toqué la guitarra. (emphasis)
We all went to "Fernando's restaurant" and we chatted a lot. After having dinner we sang while I played the guitar.
3 José dijo a María mientras bailaban:<< Todas las otras chicas aquí son bellas, ¡pero tú eres la chica más bella que he visto antes ! >>
Joseph said to Maria while they were dancing: "All the other girls here are beautiful but you are the most beautiful girl I have ever seen!"
Well, to return to the sentence in quotes above it is like saying
"You good" or "You sit" instead of saying You ARE good or Please sit down! respectively. It is not good Spanish and it is certainly not grammatically correct! You might be successful in communicating the idea of what you were trying to say in a basic kind of way, but as you can see from the second example, expressing it in this way could so easily be misunderstood as a rude way of inviting people to sit down!
