The key to your answer is found in the following sentence:

Antes de escribir, necesito investigar.

Well, I am not going to do your homework for you! lol. I have just finished doing most of my French written homework and did not ask for anyone to do it for me! I would have learnt Zilch/Zero/Nada from someone else doing it for me!

However, I have given you the key to your answer which is in the first 3 words. If you think about it, you should hopefully be able to see what i mean. Look at the construction!:

adverb + preposition (which one?) + verb

Which construction does this sentence above most closely resemble of all the multiple choices you mentioned in your post? This will (or should0 give you the correct answer if you choose wisely lol

One last clue: If you look very carefully at all the multiple choice options again you should quickly be able to eliminare 3 of the choices as being totally irrelevant to your sentence above, which I have placed in quotation marks!

If I understand the question, it might be helpful for you to know that "necesito" is a conjugated verb (conjugated to agree with an understood "yo") and that "investigar" (ends in "ar") is an infinitive.

no entendí mucho tu pregunta, pero los verbos infinitivos son cuanto terminan en -ar, -er, etc...

como no entiendo tu pregunta (por que palabras como "para" o "gustar" no dicen nada por si solas, al menos en español) te pondré unos ejemplos de frases con verbos Infinitivos, para que saques tus conclusiones (Tampoco es la idea hacerte la tarea).

I don't understand your question too much, but the infinitive verbs are those ending in -ar, er, etc...

because I do not understand your question (words like "for" or "like" don't say anything for themselves, at least in Spanish) I'll put you some examples of sentences with Infinitives verbs, to bring out your conclusions (Nor is the idea to get the task).
