Does this phrasing sound awkward?

Los lectores pueden entender lo que vio Sandra. =The readers can understand what Sandra saw.
I don't know if that sentence sounds awkward...Would it be better to say "lo que Sandra vio"? Or does the entire sentence just sound bad?

It sounds quite natural.
It can be spoken the way you suggest, but to me this sounds like more of an English translation. Also ...lo que vio Sandra provides emphasis on Sandra being the one who saw something.

Both sound good! Doesn't matter! You would have to read the content around to determine which one sounds better. Do you have the whole paragraph or at least the sentences that come before and after? This sentence may not even fit! But, by itself it works!
