Question

I know "primero" is first, but what does it mean like this: PRIMERO·DA (hyphen between the two words)

Rest of the phrase is: acta a los sres. Not sure what the entire phrase means.

And the word "SRES." (has a period on end as though for an abbreviation.

The fact that it's capitalized may mislead you. Also I would add some spaces.

I'd write this as:

Primero - Da acta a los sres....... I'm assuming the sentence doesn't end there. It also makes sense if the sentence ends there and SRES may be translated as the people involved.

So, this will be translated as:

First - Gives the official record to Mr. so and so

Da, is just a conjugated form of the verb "dar"

SRES stands for señores.

It should be Primero(a) to indicate female and male gender. So the question is, what was the occasion for? ACT(for play or circus) to the Sirs/Misters. Sres. is an abbreviation for señores(Misters)

Rachel, it might posibly be/could it be ...talking about the first stage (ACT) of working out a solution between two parties in a no fault divorce ?

Or, taking into account what you have just added about 'primero de acta' It could also be the first record /account relating to the parties in a non fault divorce.

I could be wrong, of couse!, I am simply trying to put all the pieces together that you have both presented in some logical way!

I haven't been able to find out what DA means. Primero-da. "Acta" is record,
So looks like, First- for the record (?? Sound reasonable?)
