how to say "take an exam" in Spanish
I know two ways to say this ..
1st.. presentarse a examen/prueba/evaluación. 2nd .. examinarse.
Like.. al final de cada curso hay que presentarse a exámenes
As per the translator ,, I think we can also say "tomar el examen".
Request you all to please suggest me some other ways to say this..
Many Thanks

In Spain we never say "dar un examen" or "tomar un examen". We use "presentarse a un examen","tener un examen".
You can find more useful Spanish tips in my website
You can also say:
Dar un examen de.../ Hacer un examen de.../ Hacer una prueba de/ Dar una prueba de...
But, the expression examinarse is more related to medical test. It sounds awkward when you use it in other context.
You can use the verbs : Hacer or dar un examen. I believe these are the most common although The Spanish Oxford Dictionary (4th edn) also gives the verb tomar: ex Ya hemos tomado (todos) nuestros examenes. = We have already taken (all) our exams. (My example)
To pass an exam you would use the verb aprobar ¡Acabo de aprobar todos mis examanes! = I have just passed all my exams!
I hope this helps
Tomar un examen- to take an exam Tomo un examen - I take an exam Tomaba examen - I used to take an exam Tomaria(accent on 'i') un examen - I would like to take an exam
If you want to go with what the majority says and understands it's: Tomar un examen
