This week's lesson and quiz - Telling the Time in Spanish
If you would like to learn how to tell the time in Spanish then I hope that this lesson will help you do so.
As usual I have tried to include a few points that may be interesting and/or new to even fairly advanced learners.
Then when you're feeling confident why not take the quiz and see how much you know. If you take the quiz, make sure you let us know how you get on.
And as always if anyone spots any errors please do let me know so that I can fix them up.
Todos mis mejores deseos. All the best!

Hola, Kiwi-Girl,
The questions I had are as follows.
(1) On page 13 of your slides, your translation for "Son las seis de la mañana" is "It's six a.m. in the morning." In my opinion, if "a.m." or "p.m." has been indicated, there is no need to say "in the morning/afternoon/evening" again. The same situation also happens on page 14 and page 15.
(2) Two of the questions of the quiz may have bugs. Even though I typed the correct answers, they still showed "incorrect". They are --
How would you write half an hour ago in Spanish?
How would you say its five oclock in the afternoon?
(3) There is a typo in the sentence of one of the questions:
What time dp we leave?
(4) For the question "¿Qué hora es?" with the photo of the clock showing "8:32", the answer you gave us is "Son las nueve menos veintiocho". But how about another choice for the answer "Son las ocho y treinta y dos"? On page 26 of your slide, you said, "Or, just as in English, you can express time after half past numerically."
Once again, thank you very much for designing such a good lesson and a quiz for us. They help a lot!
Hola, Kiwi!
One of the questions that you have to put in order says "What time dp we leave".
I answered the one about "cinco de la tarde"... click HERE to see... it's funny. lol
And I didn't know that when you say "there may be more than one correct answer", that I had to choose all of them... I thought that meant "more than one is correct". Hehe.
Son las diez horas y siete minutos de la mañana.

Thanx Joy, all fixed, I've shown both options as separate sentences. Good call. (smile)
