Is it correct to say Debe comer verdurous? or do you have to use Debes

Debes if you know the person well and you are on a more casual informal level Debe if you want to be formal

debes comer tus verduras ( *y vegetales) debe comer sus verduras ( *y vegetales)

(*totally optional if you want to be redundant/ reenforce)

Although I realize this isn't exactly your question...

If you want to be more foceful than just a suggestion, use a command.

The informal command "Eat the vegetables"

Come las verduras

And the formal version:

Come usted las verduras
