Game: Media Mayhem
All of us know that the Media greatly exaggerates everything. Here is a game based on that!
Here are the rules:
Check the previous post. There will be a 1 or 2 sentence report of a make-believe news story. It is your job to greatly exaggerate what that sentence says. An example news story might be, "Several ducks suddenly died for no reason last week." There are many ways to exaggerate that!
When exaggerating, you can post as long or short a post as you want. It can be 1 or 2 sentences, or it can be 8 or 9 sentences. There is no limit!
After posting your exaggeration, post your own news story for someone else to use.
Translate everything into Spanish/English.
Pictures are appreciated!
Warning: Please do not post anything containing politics, obscenity, or sexuality. I know the Media does this all the time, but this is just a game!
Here is an example:
News: "Four inches of rain fell last week. Some businesses were inconvenienced from the rising water."
"Cuatro pulgadas de lluvia cayeron la semana pasada. Algunas empresas fueron afectadas desde el agua creciente."
Media: "Total panic! Rising floodwater completely submerges many businesses, and the government has issued a state of emergency!"
"Pánico total. Levantándose una crecida sumerge completamente muchas empresas y el gobierno ha emitido un estado de emergencia."
First News story: "Small power failure in New York. Emergency generators started working within minutes."
